Barbara Lassen-LordHuman Resources Support
Barbara is a lifelong Michigan resident. She has a B.A. in Psychology from Wayne State University and a Juris Doctor from the Detroit College of Law (Cum Laude). Barbara practiced law for 32 years before retiring in 2014, only to come out of retirement to work in administration at The Law Firm of Victoria in 2015. She volunteered with the Boy Scouts of America from1999 until 2012 and supports the ACLU and various animal rescue shelters, among other charities.
She believes proper preparation prevents poor performance, and strives to meet that goal every day.
Her favorite quote is one from Abraham Lincoln:
“If I only had an hour to chop down a tree, I would spend the first 45 minutes sharpening my axe.”
Barbara enjoys visiting family members who reside outside of Michigan and doing her own DIY household repair projects, as well as cooking, reading and taking online classes from the Bloomfield Township Library. She is also a member of the Red Hat Society.
